DJPORT Music Submission Terms
This document governs MP3 submissions, use of external cloud infrastructure, responsibility for rights in Materials and participation in the Royalty Programme.
Version 25.03 • effective from 11 August 2026 • contact: [email protected]
1Scope of the Service
- DJPORT enables logged-in Users to submit tracks, remixes, edits, bootlegs, sets and other Materials connected with DJ activity.
- Files may be stored and transmitted using external infrastructure used by DJPORT, in particular Cloudflare R2/CDN and WordPress hosting.
- For User Material, DJPORT provides technical receipt, storage, cataloguing, presentation, preview and download functions within the Service.
- Submitting Material does not mean that it will be published automatically or admitted to the Royalty Programme.
2Submission Conditions
- The User submits an MP3 that meets technical requirements, selects the correct genre and provides an accurate title, artist, version and other available metadata.
- Submitting Materials without the required rights, licences or permissions is prohibited, particularly third-party official commercial releases where the User is not authorised to distribute them.
- DJPORT may refuse publication or remove Material that is corrupted, spam, advertising, malicious, technically defective, low quality, inconsistent with the Service profile or gives rise to reasonable legal concerns.
- DJPORT may correct the title, category, filename, description and technical metadata solely to organise the catalogue, enable search and ensure proper operation of the Service.
- Zaakceptowane utwory mogą zwiększać status CONTRIBUTOR i uruchamiać miesięczne nagrody PREMIUM.
3Rights Declarations
- The User declares that they hold the rights, licences, permissions or other valid authorisations required to submit the Material and make it available through DJPORT.
- The User declares that the Material does not infringe the rights of authors, performers, producers, labels, publishers, collective management organisations, image rights, personality rights or any other third-party rights.
- The User is responsible, to the extent provided by law, for the truthfulness of their declarations and the legality of their decision to submit the Material.
- DJPORT may request documents proving rights. Insufficient explanations may result in refusal of publication, removal of Material, suspension of royalties or restriction of the Account.
4Scope of Permission Granted to DJPORT
- By submitting Material, the User authorises DJPORT, for the duration of its publication, to store it technically, make copies necessary for infrastructure operation, catalogue, label, display, play and make it available for download within the Service.
- The permission covers technical file preparation, metadata storage, use of DJPORT artwork or markings and inclusion in playlists, search results, charts and recommendations.
- The permission serves only the operation and promotion of DJPORT and the Material within the Service. It does not transfer economic copyright or related rights to DJPORT.
- The User may request withdrawal of their own Material. DJPORT removes it from the catalogue and infrastructure within a reasonable period, subject to technical copies, evidence, settlement data and legal obligations.
5Moderation and Infringement Notices
- DJPORT may carry out moderation and technical checks but does not automatically verify rights in every submitted Material and may rely on User declarations.
- The User may submit their position and documents to [email protected]. Depending on the review, DJPORT may restore the Material, maintain the block or remove it.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes DJPORT liability that cannot legally be excluded.
6Royalty Programme and Royalties
- The Royalty Programme is voluntary and intended for verified DJ/Producer and Label Accounts. Publishing Material alone does not constitute participation.
- DJPORT decides on eligibility after assessing the submission, rights and quality of the Material. DJPORT may refuse eligibility and, at the User’s request, provide basic information about its status.
- The current rate is PLN 0.01 per qualifying download, or PLN 10 per 1,000 downloads, unless DJPORT announces a future rate change. Settlements are quarterly.
- DJPORT does not guarantee any number of plays, downloads or likes, chart position or amount of remuneration.
- Payment requires verification of rights and provision of the required identification, tax and settlement data together with a correctly issued VAT invoice. Any other permitted document requires prior agreement.
- In the event of a dispute, third-party claim, suspected statistics manipulation or missing documents, DJPORT may withhold payment pending clarification, refuse to settle invalid downloads or remove the Material.
7Transfer and No Sale of Music
- DJPORT Transfer is a balance for a technical download service. It is not the price of a specific track or remuneration for transferring rights in a recording.
- Purchasing transfer or downloading Material does not legalise its use outside DJPORT and does not replace any licence required for public performance, distribution, further sharing or commercial use.
- Revenue from transfer packages funds the technical service, infrastructure, network traffic, file preparation, payments, security, development and Service administration. Royalty rules arise solely from the separate Royalty Programme.
8Data, Contact and Final Provisions
- Data concerning submissions, rights, moderation and settlements may be retained for the period required to meet legal obligations, handle settlements and security, and establish, pursue or defend claims.
- Detailed data-processing rules are set out in the Polityka prywatności i RODO.
- Contact for Materials, rights, moderation, track withdrawal, complaints and royalties: [email protected].
- Matters not covered here are governed by the DJPORT Terms of Use and Polish law. Submitting a track constitutes acceptance of these rules.
