DJPORT Privacy Policy

DJPORT limits data collection to information required to operate Accounts and Service functions, ensure security, process payments and — solely for Royalty Programme participants — lawfully settle royalties.

1. Personal Data Contact: privacy questions, requests and objections may be sent to [email protected].
2. Standard Account Without Full Personal Details. DJPORT does not require a standard User to provide a first name, surname, home address or identity-document number. Basic Account data consists of an email address and chosen stage name or username. WordPress stores the password securely and DJPORT does not need to know its plain-text form.
3. Data Related to Use of the Service. To provide the Service, DJPORT may record the Account identifier, settings and type, DJPORT Transfer balance and history, download and play information, Favorites, playlists, likes, submitted tracks, notices, Royalty Programme statuses and other actions performed through DJPORT functions.
4. Technical Data. Servers, security systems and infrastructure providers may automatically process an IP address, connection date and time, device or browser information, session identifiers, error and security logs and data needed to prevent abuse. These data are not requested in the profile form but arise when an online service is used.
5. Payments. When transfer is topped up, DJPORT processes the User identifier, email, selected package, price, currency, order number and status and information required to allocate the payment. Payments are processed by PayU or PayPal under their own policies. DJPORT does not store payment-card numbers or card security codes.
6. DJPORT ID and Microphone. The microphone starts only after a User action and device permission. A short audio sample may be sent to an audio-recognition provider, in particular ACRCloud, solely to identify a recording. DJPORT does not use the microphone for continuous listening or ambient recording.
7. Files and Infrastructure. Music files, metadata and data required for transmission may be stored or processed using WordPress hosting, Cloudflare R2/CDN and other technical providers necessary to operate the Service.
8. Newsletter. The newsletter is sent only to people who have given voluntary consent. An email address is used for delivery. Consent may be withdrawn in My Account or by emailing [email protected] without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
9. Royalties and VAT Invoice. Ordinary use of DJPORT does not require settlement data. Only a User qualifying for a royalty payment must provide legally required identification, tax and settlement data and a correctly issued VAT invoice. Where law permits another settlement document, its use must be agreed with DJPORT in advance. These data are used only to verify entitlement, make payment, maintain accounting and tax records and protect against claims.
10. Purposes and Legal Bases of Processing. Data are processed to perform the contract and provide DJPORT functions, meet legal obligations, handle payments and settlements, ensure security and establish, pursue or defend claims. The newsletter and other consent-based activities continue until consent is withdrawn.
11. Data Recipients. Data may be entrusted only to parties necessary to operate the Service, in particular hosting providers, WordPress, Cloudflare, ACRCloud, PayU, PayPal, email or newsletter providers and accounting and legal advisers. Data may also be disclosed to public authorities where required by law.
12. Transfers Outside the European Economic Area. Some technology providers may process data outside the EEA. In such cases, transfers should use a mechanism permitted by the GDPR, appropriate safeguards or applicable data-protection adequacy decisions.
13. Retention Period. Dane konta i historia funkcji są przechowywane przez okres posiadania konta, a następnie przez czas niezbędny do obsługi zgłoszeń, bezpieczeństwa i roszczeń. Dane płatnicze, podatkowe, księgowe, faktury i dane dotyczące tantiem są przechowywane przez okres wymagany przepisami. Dane newslettera są używane do wycofania zgody. Logi techniczne mogą być przechowywane przez okres niezbędny do bezpieczeństwa i diagnostyki.
14. User Rights. Within the limits provided by law, a data subject has the right to access, rectify and erase data, restrict processing, data portability, object, withdraw consent and lodge a complaint with the President of the Polish Personal Data Protection Office.
15. Account Deletion. An Account deletion request may be sent to [email protected] or submitted through the panel. Certain data may remain stored where necessary for settlements, legal obligations, security or the establishment, pursuit or defence of claims.
