How does DJPORT work?
Essential information about FREE and PREMIUM, DJPORT ID, MASTER, Studio, Organizer, Sorter, payments and creator rights.
What is DJPORT?
DJPORT is a global music platform for DJs with a track catalogue, playback, downloads, playlists, ZIP packs and tools for preparing music for sets.
What can I use with a FREE account?
FREE lets you browse the catalogue and use 60-second previews. Full playback, downloads and Premium tools require active PREMIUM.
What does PREMIUM include?
PREMIUM unlocks full playback, downloads without an MB limit, Smart Packs, Artist Collections, DJPORT ID, Studio, MASTER, Organizer and Sorter. The same track may be downloaded up to twice during one Premium period.
How does DJPORT ID work?
ID listens through your phone or computer microphone, identifies a track and checks DJPORT for versions, remixes, edits and extended mixes.
How does DJPORT MASTER work?
MASTER analyses audio and prepares an optimized 320 kbps MP3. The source file is processed for the tool and the original file is not modified.
How do Organizer and Sorter work?
Organizer analyses and arranges local music files. Sorter imports a Rekordbox XML library and helps create organized playlists. Private library files are not uploaded as a complete library to DJPORT.
What is STUDIO?
STUDIO keeps your downloaded tracks and music submitted by you in one place. My Playlists contains playlists, favorites and ZIP tools.
How does CONTRIBUTOR work?
Only tracks reviewed and accepted by DJPORT count toward CONTRIBUTOR. Monthly thresholds are 20 accepted tracks = 3 Premium days, 50 = 7 days total and 100 = 14 days total. The monthly maximum is 14 days.
Can an account be shared?
No. A DJPORT account is intended for one user and may be protected by device, session and unusual-access limits.
Does PREMIUM include music rights or a public-performance licence?
No. PREMIUM pays for access to the platform and technical services. It does not transfer copyright, related rights or a public-performance licence.
Does DJPORT operate legally?
DJPORT uses a user-generated-content hosting model, respects copyright and applies an auditable notice-and-action process. Uploaders must hold the required rights or permissions.
Do uploaders receive royalties?
Eligible DJs, producers, creators and labels may receive remuneration under the DJPORT royalty programme. Uploading alone does not guarantee eligibility or payment.
How does DJPORT protect copyright?
DJPORT records an upload trail and handles complete, credible notices without undue delay. Access to disputed material may be restricted while a case is reviewed.
What is a Copyright Strike?
A strike is applied after an infringement is confirmed or rights are not effectively demonstrated, not merely because a report was filed. Repeated confirmed infringements may lead to account restrictions.
